(54) Anti-tank barrier

(57) The antitank barrier has at least one barrier element, which is displaceably arranged in a guide sleeve arranged beneath the level of the ground or carriageway. By means of a stationary lifting and lowering drive, the barrier element can be brought out of a barrier position, in which it projects out of an opening in the ground, into a completely lowered position, in which vehicles are free to pass, and vice versa. The barrier element and the lifting and lowering drive are housed within a container. When the container is buried in an opening in the ground, the base wall and the side walls of the container serve with its top wall, which is approximately level with the ground or the carriageway, as formwork.
